Week 1: Music Making Skills - Â Come learn with the best about score reading, music vocabulary and much more! Using fun musical examples attendees will leave with a confidence in their musicianship skills - with CCC Director, Allison Hartzell
About the InstructorÂ
Fall 2021 will mark the beginning of her third season as the  Musical Director of the Coppell Community Chorale. Mrs. Hartzell is in  her 14th year as choral director for Coppell MS West. While teaching at  West, choirs are successful at UIL Solo and Ensemble, All-Region choir  auditions, and State Festivals. The Varsity Treble Choir, Varsity Mixed  Choir, Non-Varsity Treble Choir, and Tenor/Bass Choir compete at the UIL  Concert and Sight- reading Competition and have consistently earned  sweepstakes trophies across the board.A cum laude graduate of the University of North Texas, Mrs.  Hartzell was a member of the Concert Choir, Grand Chorus, Student  Chapter of ACDA, and Vice President and Co-Founder of the North Texas  Student Music Educators Association. She has served as the Region XX MS  Vocal Coordinator, West Fine Arts Department Chair and holds memberships  with TMEA, TMAA, ACDA, and TCDA.Mrs. Hartzell grew up in the Houston area and was a member of  her high school's choir, band, and theatre programs. She has been  singing since the age of 4 and knew from then on she had found her  calling. Mrs. Hartzell lives in Coppell with her husband Rick, children  Madison and Hunter, and puppies, Pele and Baxter.
